I've spent more than a decade inside the electric cooperative world, including my years at NRECA training co-op leaders across the country, and a career in crisis management and communication that started in FEMA disaster response. I've been in the boardrooms, the annual meetings, and the member Facebook fights. I built the Besieged playbook, and the Crisis Doctrine underneath it, from real cooperative cases: rate backlash, data center fights, compensation questions, organized member opposition.

There are crisis consultants, and there are people who know electric cooperatives. There is nobody else doing both at this level, and no one who understands member backlash the way I do, because I've spent years studying exactly how it forms and exactly what stops it.
